BEST BATTLEFIELD V WEAPONS
Ranked by the same engine HEAD2HEAD uses to score players — K/D, KPM, hipfire and range bands. See how rankings are calculated ↓
Tightest hipfire and recoil pattern in the AR pool — dominates objective rooms and mid-lane duels.
Fastest practical TTK among semi-autos with low recoil; rewards aim discipline at range.
Two-shot at range when controlled; pairs well with the precision specialisation tree.
AR-class accuracy with SMG-tier handling; punishes flanking lanes.
Highest sustained DPS SMG in the game — clears rooms before opponents can react.
Forgiving recoil and large mag make it the most reliable SMG across ranges.
Industry-leading hipfire spread; thrives in trench and indoor brawls.
Two fire-rate modes make it a Swiss-army SMG for medics who hold sightlines.
Best LMG accuracy stationary; anchors lanes and protects revives.
Low recoil per shot — high consistency at medium engagements.
Highest LMG fire rate; bipoded it locks down chokes and objective approaches.
LMG that plays like an SMG when hipfired — situational but punishing.
Fastest bolt cycle; one-hit-kill range covers most map sightlines.
Two-shot at any range with tightest sway recovery — best skilled-shooter rifle.
Two-tap mid range, sustained fire long range — the all-rounder DMR.
Hard-hitting per shot; rewards positioning and angle holding.
Effectively a tiny SMG — best emergency sidearm for any class.
Two-shot kill potential at sidearm range when controlled.
One-shot lethal on charge — the highest-volume melee weapon across our dataset.
Fast swing speed; rewards flanking playstyles.
HOW RANKINGS ARE CALCULATED
Every pick above is scored on three axes drawn from the same live gametools.network dataset that powers the player dossiers. Nothing is opinion-based — if a weapon moves tier, it's because these numbers moved.
Total kills and pick rate across the tracked player pool. A weapon nobody actually equips can't claim a top tier no matter how good it looks on paper.
K/D, KPM, accuracy and headshot % — pulled from the same fields we surface in the dossier. S-tier requires top-quartile K/D and top-quartile KPM.
Effective range band and role fit — how the weapon performs in the engagements it's actually taken into. A short-range monster loses points if it's forced into mid-lane duels.
- S — top quartile on both K/D and KPM, with a defined best-in-class role.
- A — top quartile on one metric, above median on the other.
- B — above-median performer with a niche role (aggression, hipfire, etc.).
